YOUTHFUL INCENDIARISTS.
ADMIT CAUSING- EIGHTEEN FIRES. [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Sept. 29. Two boys, named James Henry Sergeant, aged fifteen, and Arthur Ruddle, aged fifteen, have been arrested on a charge of breaking and entering, with the intention to commit arson. The accused admitted having caused eighteen small fires in the city during the past month. The accused were remanded to Friday, bail being refused. They stated that they wished to see the excitement caused by the brigade's arrival.
