THEATRE ROYAL.

FAREWELL NIGHT. The success which has attended Mr , Harry Rickards's Company of vaudeville : artists at the'Tbeatre Royal looks as if j.t' 1 would remain unbroken to the end-of the -season. Another satisfactorily filled house last night witnessed the final change of programme submitted-, and the different items in turn earned unstinted applause.. Mr Cinquevalli, as usual, came in for the lion's share of the appreciation, as his wonderful performance well merited. His great feat 1 of balancing a dog-cart on the point of his chin, on one shaft, whilst making a complete revolution,' again took the house by storm, and. was received with-great' enthusiasm. Besides this exhibition of nerve and strength he introduced many new feats in juggling, which were as esjtraj ordinary and mystifying as those introI duced earlier in the season. Professor i CharlesJWrigley was fully appreciated in ! his saxophone and clarionette solos, as were i Walker and May in their original American coon turns. Madame Lydia Yeamans-' Titus, assisted by her clever husband avaccompanist, again, established herself ag a prime favourite with her audience. Her impersonation of a child singing her first song : m' public was excellent. She had to respond to numerous recalls. Mr Colby, in his ventriloquial turn, in which -hewas ably, assisted by his clever wife, was again very, successful. To-night will be the farewell night the .season. For the convenience <•£ patrons who wish to witness the last performance of Qinquevalli and his associates in the farewell bill, arrangements have been made for late trams. Cinquevalli will appear at o. quarter to nine.
