TO THE EDITOE. Sir, —In ! putting my letter into shape you made me. claim that the Second; Contingent was a* Paard'eburg andl New* Zealand Hill. I am sure I did not write this, and everyone knows the Contingent was in another part of the country when the First was distinguishing itself at these historic scenes.—l am, etc., FRISKY SECOND. (We regret tfhat we misread-or interlined part of our correspondent's letter and mads -hi-mi give the Second Contingent credit' for feats 'he intended to- attribute to the First—Ed. "L.T.")
