SYDENHAM SWIMMING- CLUB. The Sydenham Swimming Club held a very pleasant meeting on Saturday afternoon:, when two swimming events, two diving events, and a po'.o match formed the programme*. The following were the officials:—Referee, Mr A. Francis; judges, Messrs G. J. C. Smart, Scales, A. M. Sims, and W. Johnson; starters, Messrs C. Kent, J. W. Davis and! J. W. ' The following were the teams: fmnedin: A. M. Sims (captain), D. M. Stewart, R. E. Boulton, W. Johnston, F. G. Williams, T. E. Patterson and G. Dry. Sydenham: J. C. Sibbald, C. Schneider, T. Gill, C. Kent (captain), A. Brunsden, R. E. Hall 'and I*. Sibbald. Play was even in the firssb spell, but Johnston and Stewart, for Dunedin, each scoredi a goal in the second spell, Dunedin thus winning by two goals to nil.
