A meeting' of delegates from the Avon and Chris tchuroh Amateur Rowing Clubs was held on Monday evening, at which it was decided that the clubs should open the rowing season on Saturday, Oct. 12. Commodore, Mr F. Fuller; marshals,' Messrs J. C. Adams and (J. Allard. A' procession of boat*, and scratch, double sculls and canoe races will be held, with afternoon tea at the respective boathouses.
