CURRENT NOTICES.
A meeting of the Christchurch Domain Board! will bo held at the City Council Chambers at noon, to-day, when the question of the wages paid to employeels will be discussed. A sale of work in connection with the Girls’ Friendly Society will he opened; byMrs A. E. G. ORhicdles ’-at the rooms, Gloucester Street, at 2 p.m. to-day. Mr John G. Woolley will address a meeting in the Canterbury Hall to-night. The subject of his address is “ A Sower.”- The Mayor of Christchurch will preside. The annual meeting of the, Canterbury Chamber of Commerce will be held on Tbursidiay next. It will be preceded! by a luncheon at 1 p.m. In connection with Mr J. G. Woolley’s lecture on Friday evening, the Elite Brass Band, under Mr A. Q. Heath, will play outside the Canterbury Hall from 7.15 till 8 p.m.
