AUCKLAND KENNEL CLUB.

[Pee Press Association.] AUCKLAND, August 2. The tenth annual show of the Auckland Kennel Club opened, to-day, and proved a great sticcess. Two collies from Napier scored heavily in that class, Mr H. M’DofialdVMoharaka. Ranger easily winning the championship for collie dogs. Mr W. A. Smith’s Napier Sultan and Napier Seabreeze outclassed the local exhibits in fox terriers. A . couple of splendid imported field spaniels are exhibited by Mr Cambridge, the owner. Altogether 240 dogs are shown, representing 360 entries. In Airedales Mr D. C. Ingram’s Bena of Femland wen three first prizes, also special and champion prizes. This makes a total of five champions, ten specials and seventeen first prizes. The show of bull dogs, and bull' terriers is very fair, and, as usual, collies'are very well represented, some splendid dogs being shown. Irish terriers are also largely represented.
