THE LATE MR HULL.
The funeral of the late Mr Charles Hull, for many years connected with the " Lyttelton Times" office, took place at the Linwood Public Cemetery yesterday, when the service was read toy, the Ven Archdeacon Lingard. There-was a large and representative following,' including the editors of the "Lyttelton Times," "Press," "Canterbury Times" and "Star," the manager of the "Lyttelton Times'* Company, and members of the staff from the literary*, commercial and mechanical departments, members oi the Journalists' Institute and Typographical Union. Mr H. Y. Widdowson, S.G.W., represented, the New Zealand Masonic Grand Lodge, ' and there were also present most of the officers, and a number of the members of the St Augustine Ledge, of which Mr Hull had been for many years a member., The coffin was borne .to ■ the grave by Messrs T. Stone, T. H. Davey, W. G. Atack, A. Sugden, H. Grettan. and G. Moon, old comrades' of the deceased. Amongst the floral tributes were wreaths from the " Lyttelton Times," "Star" and "Canterbury Times " Literary Staff, " Lytbeltoii Times " Companionship, "Press" Literary Staff, and St Augustine Masonic Lodge.
