PERSONAL.
The Rev D. Carew arrived from Wellington by the s.s. Tarawera yesterday morning. The Hon W. Roileston, Captain Willis and Air J. Prouse were amongst the passengers for Wellington by the Tarawera last evening. Miss Palethorpe, who was for some years on the staff of the Christchurch Hospital, is now one of the principal nurses in the Plague Hospital in Cape Town. Mr H. Pitt, the well-known amateur rider, has been employed for some time in the Remount Department at Bloemfontein. Mr 'Outhbertson, of Ashburton, is in the transport service at the same place.
