ALLEGED COUNTERFEIT COINING.
[Per Tr.ESS Association^ INVERCARGILL, July 11. The three'ycuths accused of coining wen sent up for trial at the Supreme Court to day, two for passing base half-crowns am the other for having in his possession ; counterfeit shilling, this on his own admis sion. A constable went to the boy's plao of employment and told him that he wa wanted at the police fetation. He walke< ahead and the lad admitted to a detectiv* that he thsew a bad shilling into a creek a: lio walked behind.
