Store Cattle. —Under 40 head of prlnaipally dry cows afforded ho criterion of the *tate of the market, which lacked any stir. Pat Sheep.— -The small market .did not cause any increased demand for fat ewes, which were dull of sale, and several lines were withdrawn, but, on. the other hand, the demand for freezing wethers was animated, several buyer’s for export competing with some spirit for the best lines, mated, several buyers for export vying against each other for . the best lines. While there was a decided drop'of Is a bead on ewes, the demand for freezing

wethers caused them to advance. in sympathy with the London market fully ls_ on fast week’s quotations!. An extra prime line-of half-bred wethers from the Valeria

There were no big lines of ewes, but they all sold at prices ranging at from 7s 8d to 15s 9d, this latter being given for a very prime little lot.
