WORK AND WAGES.
At the Conciliation Board at Wellington yesterday the parties to the printers’ machinists dispute agreed, that the wages of apprentices should be '7s; 6d pertiweels for tke : first sis months,'with'six-monthly increases of 2s 6d a week during the period of apprenticeship. It. was also agreed that preference of employment should be given to unionists.
