PLUMPTON PARK TROTTING CLUB. The annual meeting' of the Plumpton Park TrotUiwr Club was held at the club a rooms, ■SM Sueet, yesterday. a small attendance, and Mr C. S. Howo presided. There was on deposit at the Post Office Sav-irw-3 Bank £250, and a credit at the Bank ol New Zealand, with which to commence the year, of £384 Os 6d. Mr xioweil, in moving the adoption of the balance-sheet, said it spoke eloquently of the success of the club that they had such a good credit balance at the bank. A pleasing item was that £250 had been earmarked for paying off their debenture-holders. (He'hoped the club would continue'to hold the same- strong and healthy position in the future. Mulholland; stewards—the committee, with tho addition of Mr ifl. J. .'D'errett; handioapper, Mr H. Brinkman; starter, Mx C. O’Connor: auditor, Mr C. J. Martin; clerk of the scales, -Mr A. Evans; clerk of. the course, Mr E. Holmes; ground; committee —Messrs 0. S. Howell, D. O'Brien, J. Franks, R. J. Mason and P. Mulholland. The usual honorarium was voted to the secretary and treasurer. Mr C. S. Howell was elected the Club’s delegate to the Ttotting Conference, and was given a free hand. The question of arranging dates of meeting with the Metropolitan Club was considered. The delegate to the Trotting Conference was instructed to I inform the 'Conference that, if there is to be any alteration in the dates in Canterbury, the Plumpton Club is willing to forego the November meeting, and allow the Metropolitan Club the first two selections of dates, provided ■the Plumpton Club has the next two. The usual votes of thanks to last year’s officebearers brought the meeting to a close.
