[Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, June 25. At the Horticultural Show the chief awards were:—Garden produce—Dunedin Society 1. Collection of fruit—H. Hanlon (Wharagarei) 1, Hawke’s Bay Society 2. Collection of oranges, lemons, etc.—E. Morrison (Mahurangi) 1, Hawke’s Bay Society 2. Grapes—Dunedin Society 1. Wine —G. E. Garard (Oamaru) 1, E. Cook (Hastings) 2. Potatoes—West Taieri Society 1, Balclutha. Society 2. Horticultural appliances—Nimmo • and Blair (Dunedin) 1. Ferns—R. Glendining (Dunedin) 1, P, G. Stewart (Dunedin) 2. Chrysanthemums— E. A. 'Hamil (Dunedin) 1, Dr Reid (Timaru) 2. Canned Fruit exhibit—S. Kirkpatrick and! Co. (Nelson) 1. A gold medal was awarded to the Agricultural Department (Wellington), for its exhibit.
