[Pee Peess Association.] AUCKLAND, June 25. A dispute has been, filed between the Carters’ Union and fifty-five employers. Among the demands of the Union are that drivers shall leave the stables at ,7.30 a.m. and return at 5 p.m., and on Saturdays at noon; that £2 8s shall be the minimum wage for drivers of waggons and lorries, and £2 5s for the drivers "of drays and springcarts. , . A dispute has been filed between the Auckland Bakers’ Union and sixty-nine employers. The Union demands that nine and a half hours shall be a day’s labour, including one and a half hours for breakfast and one hour for sponging* and that wages shall be —Eor foremen, a minimum of £3, for second hands £2 10s and for-others £2 5s per week.
