PERSONAL.
Mr A. A. Thornton, the Government dairy expert, came north hy the express on Saturday night. The Hon James Carroll and Mr A. L. D. Fraser, M.H.R., arrived from ‘Vydlington last evening. ' The Hons. J, Carroll, Shrimski and Fraser were passengers from Wellington by the Rotorua yesterday, and arrived- in Christchurch early In the evening. Mr Percy N. Rsay, Reuter’s special agent, arrived from Wellington- on- Saturday morning-, and went on to Dunedin by the express. The. Hon T, Y. Duncan, .Minister of Lands, Mr J. D. Ritchie, Secretary fox Agriculture, Mr T. W. Kirk, Government Biologist, Messrs J. D. Blackmore and y. I. Ffitch, Government Pomologists, and Messrs M. Murphy, F. 1.5.,. T. M’Kenzie and A. E. Lowe left for Dunedin by Saturday’s express to attend the Winter Show there.
