[Fkom Our Correspondent.] DUNEDIN, June 20. The resignation of Mr Somerville, who has acted as architect to the Otago Education Board for upwards of a quarter of a century, has been received with regret by the Board, who passed a resolution expressing its best thanks to Mr Somerville for his long and faithful services. The Waitahuna Presbyterian Church has placed on record its emphatic' protest against the Sabbath desecration by the entrainment of the horses and baggage of the Tuapeka Mounted Rifles from Lawrence to Dunedin on Sunday next.
