THE VOLUNTEER REVIEW.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I was on the poia'b of writing and suggesting the _ very same thing as " ExVolunteer" does .in your columns to-day, so have much pleasure: in seconding his proposal. The sight of some 8000 volunteers and cadets marching, not as to. war, but peacefully through the streets' after tihe review would indeed be a beautiful and imposing sight. I would suggest their marching from Hagley Parle to the Drill Shsd by tills way of Antigua, Gloucester and Colombo Streets, Cathedral Square, -round the Gcdky Statue, High and OaShel Streets m one solid body. This route would giva great joy to many thousands of -"»actators who navlAsnat. get "within 000-ee,
much less sight of them-, in tihe Park. Hoping this will be done, I am, etc., citizen; Christchurch, June 20, 1901.
