■ A good house greeted the Dix Gaiety Company last evening,. when all the of a varied an interesting programme were well received. Mr Wallace King was accorded an enthusiastic reception, having been recalled three times. To-night will be his last in Christchurch for some time, and Opera House audiences will be loth to lose him. The management of the company in Christchurch has invited the Greymouth cadets to be present'this evening, and this favour will be much appreciated by the lads, An interesting programme will be submitted.' •■•-..■
