A NIGHT SHELTER.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —A night shelter for women will be open from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.. on Friday, Saturday, 'Sunday and Monday during the Royal. Visit. The whereabouts of the shelter are known to the police, the Salvation Ajmy rescue 'officers, the Deaconess' Home, and to myself. It is to be hoped that social and Christian workers will look about in the crowded streets in search of strayed children or girls, and will bring ; them to the shelter. Food and fire and a cheerful welcome are guaranteed free of charge.—l am, etc., E. W. 'CUNNINGTON.
