THE VOLUNTEER REVIEW.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —As 1 have been informed that after the Royal review next Monday the Volunteers will dismiss for the day, would it be too much to ask that before finally breaking ranks, they he permitted to march through the principal streets of the city? The eight of so large a number of troops from all parts of the colony marching in close order through our streets will-probab-ly not be witnessed for many a year to come, and would furnish an imposing spectacle that will never he forgotten by both young and old. I hope, if it is not too late, the authorities will endeavour to arrange for some such desirable object, lesson of our military resources.-—I am, etc., EX-VOLUNTEER. ,
