A MINING CASE.
CHARGE OF SALTING A CLAIM. [Per Press Association.] ‘ . GREYMOUTH, Feb. 15.
In the District Court, the gold salting' case against Lawsons and Pring commenced today. The jury panhelled' was nearly., exhausted by, challenges. The Crown Prosecutor took an hour to open the case. Tansey is now being examined, but so far no evidence has been given beyond that already reported.
