A meeting of butter agents and importers, the New South Wales Agent-General presiding, resolved to. urge the shipping companies to complete the delivery of butter within six days of their commencing to discharge it. A committee was formed to carry out the matter. The total quantity of wheat add flower afloat for the United Kingdom is 3,050,000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,040,000 quarters. The Brunei's cargo of Victorian wheat sold at 30s 3d per quarter. Bank shares and debentures.—Bank of New South Wales 43, Union Bank 36£, Loan and Mercantile four per cent prior lien debentures 92. The other stocks are unchanged. ' At the tallow sales 646 casks were offered, and 525 casks sold. The prices of all kinds are unchanged.
