RAM FAIR.

[Per Press Association.] WANGANUI, Feb. 14, Messrs Freeman G. Jackson and Co. continued their ram fair to-day. The attendance wa.s large, but except fair Border and English Leicesters, the 'bidding was decidedly lower, and owners had -to accept a t least ig to Ig less than yesterday. Mr William Wilson's flock of Lincolns topped the second day’s market with £4 9s fid. The New Zealand Land Company’s Border Leicesters averaged £6 10s 9d, Mr A. Martin’s English Leicesters £5 10s 3, and Mr J. S. Holmes £5 Bs. Altogether 1400 rams were sold under the hammer, and tbs few Lincolns withdrawn will, no doubt, find buyers tomorrow.
