BOROUGH COUNCILS.
WOOLSTOX. ' A meeting of the Council was held on Thursday last; present—His Worship the Mayor (Mr Thomas), Councillors Milne, Hobson, Moore, Parish, Spreadfcffry, Henley and Lord. The Mayor reported' that arrangements had been made with the Chief Postmaster, Christchurch, ■ lor iho use of the Council Cottage as a Post Office lor the. Borough. Trie arrangement- was airproved. The Works Committee was instructed to make, inquiries as to the cost- of forming a footpath 'from ' Oharlesworth’ Slrpet to Ferry'Bridge, as asked'for by’ thirty-two petitioners. It was resolved that the 10 per cent penalty upon unpaid rates should be enforced after Feb. 28. The Finance Committee reported that £2Bl 6s 6cl had been received during the month, and recommended that accounts to the amount of £l6O 13s 6d should be paid. The debit balance at the bank was £503 6s lid. The meeting then terminated.
