[From OuR Correspondent.] DUNEDIN, Feb. 13. A movement is on foot by th© commercial community to recognise in* some, substantial form the services rendered by Air Croiri/bi© while, stationmaster here.* Air Orombie leavep to take up the duties of District Traffic 'Manager at Greymouth next week. The case Aitchison v. the Kaiiaugafca Goal Company, the hearing of which was commented oil! August 17 last, has at length reached its final stage, viz., argument upon th© evidence taken at the inquiry ordered Under the Court's decree and at the original trial. This is now proceeding before Air Justice Williams. Apparently th© Federation Commission it likely to be a costly job. The five members who are not meriibers of th© Legislature, each receive £5 3s a day and all expenses, Th© other five receive one guinea and all expenses. In addition, there are a seexe. tary and shorthand reporter, and as the Commission will probably bfe engaged up to the ©v© of Parliament meeting, the cost is likely to be considerable. Owing to the outbreak Of diphtheria, the Alexandra School has been closed for a week, ,
