BUSH FIRES.
EXTENSIVE DAMAGE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received Feb. 13, 7.25 p.m.j AIELBOURNE, Feb. 13. The Government is supplying the immediate needs of the sufferers from the bush fires. Details are slowly coming to hand. In the°Hamilton district, sixty thousand acres rtf grass, many sheep, and stacks of bagged grain were burned. In th© Yea district two hundred square miles of grass, and over three thousand sheep were lost. At th© Boggy Creek settlement twelve out of twenty residences, the post office, State school, and creamery were demolished. Great damage was effected in th© Wangaratta district, where many settlers are homeless. Aluch stock has been lost, and the total damage is estimated/ at between twenty and thirty thousand! poimds.
