SHIPPING. LONDON, Feb. 12. Arrived- —Buteshire, from New Zealand. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has received the following cable message, dated London, Feb. 9: Wool. —The sales closed firmly this day. Since -the dose of last sales prices have altered as under;—Greasy merino super, scoured merino super, fine greasy cross-bred, are par to per lb higher ; greasy merino medium and inferior, medium greasy crossbred, coarse greasy cross-bred, are par to£d lower ; scoured merino, medium and inferior, medium scored cross-bred, coarse scoured cross-bred, are did per lb lower. The market for fine scoured cross-bred is unchanged, while that for slipe cross-bred is easier. Ninety-live- thousand bales have been held over for future disposal.
