THE LATE MR TABART.
The respect in which the late Mr Tabari was held was shown by tho very .urge attendance of all classes of the community at his funeral, wljich took place' at the Woolston Cemetery yesterday afternoon. Being Wednesday, it was impossible' for a good many of the salesmen to be absent from the Addington Market, but each firm of auctioneers was represented. The coffin was borne from the house to an open hearse by Messrs A. A. Mackellar, T. Miller, F. Wilding, A. R. Bloxam, L. W. Tosswill and A. Anderson, and the cortege proceeded to the cemetery, where the service was read! by Canon Pascoe, the bell of St Mark s Church, Opawa, tolling meanwhile. Olliver and family. At the Addington Market yesterday there were general expressions of regret at the death of Mr F. C. Tabarfc. who was one ©» the oldest stock auctioneers, in Canterbury. Air J. J. Muster, in speaking of the deceased from the rails, testified to the universal respect in which he was held. It was announced that the business of the firm would be carried on as usual.
