The weather for the Otago Cycling Olub s ninth annual race meeting was not very favourable, rain falling during the afternoon. The attendance, however, was fairly good. OTAGO WHEEL RACE; two miles—M. Randrup, 90yds, 1; A. Pirie, 240yds, 2; H. Gunthorpe, 220yds, 3. Corrie and" Bi?nnett fell.. Randrupj who rode a good race,' won by a length and a half. ONE 'MILE NOVICE RACE—H. A. •Nicholson,'9syds, 1; R. H. Nagie, 35yds, t; A. W. J. Clark, 50yds, t. Time—2min 25sec. ONE-MILE SECOND-CLASS HANDICAP —A. Hueston, ,scr, 1; A. Ralston, 20yds, 2; F. Williams, SOyda, 3. Time—2min 40 4-!isec. CHAMPIONSHIP OF OTAGO; two distances, .one mile, and three and Barker, were first and second respectively in-each diatance. Ralston and Holland divide ed."third money.-. Times—pne mile, 2mm 17 4-ssec';' three miles, 7miiL' lßsec. Sutherland made a wonderful spurt in each .race, and Barker responded gamely, but the rest of the men were not in it.
