A curious case has occurred in one of the Paris hospitals, which is exciting much comment in medical circles. - Some time ago ■a >vpman named Legsos, fifty-five years', of age, was found lying in the road'in a'state of insensibility ai:d absolutely rigid. She was removed by the police to the hospital, where for three weeks she remained in tlhe same state. The doctors then decided that she was dead, and had been so since she ■was found, the preservation of her body being due to the amount of alcohol she had imbibed.
