A SERIOUS ACCUSATION.
SCENE AT A RAILWAY STATION. VOLUNTEERS CHARGED WITH THEFT. [Per Pbess Association.] WQODVILLE, Feb. 9. After the arrival of the West Coast Volunteers on their way to Wellington to take part in the reception of the Imperial .troops, the refreshment rooms were rushfcd, and it is alleged that a number of men helped themselves to beer, .whisky and <(iga-rs, besides sandwiches, and insulted th« attendant because he declined to supply them with refreshments "without receiving payment. Three silver mugs are reported to be raiesing. The matter has been placed in the hands of the police.
