United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph— Copyright. (Received Feb. 10, 5.4 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 9. ' The sarcophagus at Frogmore has been reseated. A recumbent marble figure of the late Queen; carved and preserved at Windsor Castle for twenty-five years, has been placed on the lid.

At the monthly meeting of the Woolston School Committee, held on Monday, a resolution was carried expressing sympathy with King Edward VII., and members of the royal family at the great loss they and the country have sustained by the death of Queen Victoria. It was decided that the terms of the resolution should be sent to the Acting-Premier. The Amberley Tcwn Board, at its meeting on Thursday evening, passed a resolution expressive of the heart-felt sorrow • of the residents of the district at the decease of 'her Majesty Queen Victoria, and of continued loyalty to the tb.TC.nie and person of his Majesty King Edward VII. The Provincial C.S. of the Lyttelton district, 1.0.0.F.M.U., has received a letter from the Hon C. Hill-Trevor, conveying the thanks of his Excellency the Governor to the members of the district for their expression of sympathy on the occasion of the death of her late Majesty Queen Victoria.
