A meeting, of the executive of. the Union. Bowing Club was held at the ’ boathouse ■on-Wednesday. It Was decided to instruct the club’s delegate at the meeting -of the New Zealand Amateur Rowing Association. on Feb. 2 to support the motion proposed by the Otago clubs with regard to local government. Messrs Kesteven and Atack were appointed a sub-committee to forward details. Programmes were received of “the Sydney Amiiversarv and Balmain regattas. It was decided to send a circular to. all-members whose subscriptions are unpaid, to the effect- that ...they will ..lose me privileges of membership if their subscriptions are not paid by Feb. 1.
