A CASE DISMISSED.
[Per Press Association. 1 AUCKLAND, July 19.
William. Henry, charged with doing grievous bodily harm to William Firth, a cyclist fatally injured by a collision with a horse on Ponsonby Road, was discharged, the Magistrate holding Firth equally to blame with accused. The horse and cyclist met near the centre, of the road, and neither gave way. The Magistrate said he could not think that the words, “keep to the left,” in toe Act meant that the rider or driver must he on the left side of a line drawn down the centre of the road.
