When play was resumed this morning the weather was warm but overcast, and the wicket was in good order. The attendance was small. Trulnble and Jones were bowled with successive balls. Noble was over three hours at the "wickets without giving a chance. The first innings of the Australians closed for 375 runs. The second innings of the Englishmen produced 222 runs. Trumble dismissed Fry by a fine catch in the slips. The departing batsman made all his runs off one over of Jones’s. Abel fell an easy victim to Trumble.
