[Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, May 11. The Harbour Bfcfafd has accepted the offer of the City Council to pay £362 10s per year for permission to discharge sewage silt into’ the harbour until a drainage scheme is undertaken. The licensee of the Commercial Hotel was to-day fined £2 and costs, and his license endorsed, for selling liquor on a Sunday. A charge against the licensee of the Universal Hotel was dismissed. The retnains of the three criminals interred within the precincts of the old gaol were feinterfed to-day in the Northern Cemetery. The police, so far, have been unable to obtain information as to the skull of Jarvey, which was stolen by some person.
