It is understood that the Bank of Near Zealand has sold the Auckland Meat Freezing Company's works and plant to a southern syndicate. The price is believed to be well over £20,000. It lias been definitely arranged that Mr Hazelden, S.M. at Wairavapa, comes to Wellington. Mr Kenny, Wellington, ; proceeds to Wanganui, while, Mr Northcroifc, Hawera, succeeds Mr Hazelden in W.%irarapa. •* The Government is negotiating for the purchase of a site for additional Coii-t accommodation in Wellington. The Rotomahana made the trip from the Lyttellton wharf to the Wellington wharf in llhr 56min, which is within Bmin of the record. !
