[Pes Press Association.] PAHIATUA, May 10. Messrs George Hutchison and W. C. Buchanan, M.H.R.'s, addressed a large meeting here. Both attacked the present administration, and dealt with the late marine scandal, which Mr Hutchison said was without parallel outside New York. DUNEDIN, May 10. Mr Allen, M.H.R., received a vote of confidence at Milton. He mainly attacked the administration of the Government. With respect to the marine scandal, he said they would yet find out that the Minister of Marine knew of the issue of the certificate, and winked at and encouraged it. Regarding the railways, he said it was fortunate that grain had not been coming in at. a rapid rate, or the administration must have broken down badly.' He blamed the Minister for not asking Parliament to vote money for automatic brakes.
