. -—— ; RANGIORA RIFLES v, KAIAPOI RIFLES;- - , ■ On Saturday the first leanis of the Rangiora and Kaiapoi Companies fired a rnatcU at Rangiora, and Kaiapoi won- by ten points'. .The distances were 200, ,300 and 500yds, seven shots at each, and Rangiora firing one man short, was allowed an average score. Owing to darkness setting in, the scoring of some of the men at the last range was poor. The second teams of , the same companies fired a match on the , Kaiapoi range. Rangiora won with a majority of seventeen. The distances were 200, 300 and 500yds, five shots at each.
