TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —After reading the Ladies’ Gossip in to-clay’s issue of the “ Lyttelton • Times*” it has struck me that if the writer of it would kindly make and publish a list of a few things that might be spoken about in ordinary conversation it would be a great guide to go by, and he or she -would be conferring a great benefit upon society in general, as he or she has' debarred inost ordinary subiects of conversation. —I am. etc., ENQUIRER.
