The Rangiora Chib fired the fourth competition for Mr A. Y. Hay’s trophy qn Thursday evening. The principal scorers were: —R. .i. Elf ord 34, H. Gulliver, C. W., Bell, W. Efford, sen., C. d’Auvergne each 33, I). M’Kay, B. d’Auvergne, J. Pethig, i W.. Stalker each 32, B. Jordan, F. Beker and C. Eraser each 51. The committee of the club met after the firing, and decided to cohvene a .meeting of delegates from clubs in the northern district, with the! object of . forming an Association 'to arrange a round of matches. Mr C. d’Auvergne was' appointed to represent the Rangiora Club, . ■
