(Pisu Press Association i NAPIER, Nov. 00. - The annual sports meeting of the Wanderers’ Bicycle Club was held to-day in fine weather and in the presence of a large number of spectators. The racing was very good throughout. The following are the results of the principal events Mile Handicap—K. Akers (Palmerston North), 1, Time—2miu 23seo. Hawke’s Bay Amateur Championship; ono mile— T. H. Stubbs, 1; T. Taylor, 2 ; T. Lucy, o. Time 2min 34sec. Wanderers’ Wheel Race ; two miles—H, Akers (Palmerston North), 1; C. Catt.anach (Napier), 2; J. Wingate (Palmerston North), 3. Time—4tnin 34 l-ssec. Open District Championship ; one mile—G. Sutherland (Christchurch), 1 ; A. C. Middleton (Dunedin), 2 ; A, R. Barker (Christchurch), 3. Time —2min23 2-ssec. Ton-mile M’Lean Cup — J. Sutherland (Havelock), 1 ; T. Taylor, 2; Stubbs, 3. Time—2Smin 12sec. Licensod Victuallers’ Plate ; live miles—Bennett (Dannevirke), A. Ralston (Dunedin) and Sutherland (Christchurch) dead heat for first place. Time—l2min 14 3-ssec.
