AUCKLAND NEWS.
[Per Press Association.! AUCKLAND, Nov. 30. A deputation from the New Zealand Literary Association met his Excellency the Governor in connection with the encouragement of New Zealand literature. His Excellency was greatly interested in the movement, and expressed himself willing to assist it. He made some valuable suggestions, and offered to bring the Association in touch with one of the leading literary bodies in London. The Association already numbers over forty members.
