[Pirn Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Nov. 30.
The rainfall in Wellington during the month ending to-day, wan 2.68 m, as against 2.35 in in November of last year. The average for the same month in previous year's, was 4.16 in.
Commandant Booth, who arrived from the south to-day, received a most enthusiastic welcome. In the course of an interview, he said, that it-had Just been decided to immediately erect a maternity home in Wellington at a cost of £IOOO. Mr E. H. Bakewell, M.A,,: head master of the Grsytown school, has been appointed third inspector under tho Education Board.
