MARKET REPORTS.

SPRIHGSTON. Messrs Pyne and Co. held their usual sale at the Springston yards yesterday, ■when 8000 sheep, 50 head of cattle and 40 pigs, with a lot of sundries, formed the entry. The attendance of ■ farmers and graziers was large. The bulk of the entry changed hands at ruling rates, and sales were made as follows Forward wethers 8s to 8s 9d, medium, sorts 6s 9d to 7s 3d, fat ewes 6s 6d to Ss 6d. Freezing lambs were in strong demand, all lines selling at full rates, 9s 3d to 3.0 s 6d. Breeding ewes were not in much request, sales being made as follows:—A line of iour-tooth half-breds at Bs, other lines of mixed ages at from 4s 9d to 7s 3d. Store lambs were slow of sale, values ranging from 3s 3d to 7s 3d; aged ewes (boilers) sold at from 2s 6d to 4s 9d for cross-breds, and from Is 3d to 2s for merino.
