[Per Preps Association.l PALMEESTON NOETH, March 28. At a meeting 1 of the stewards of the Manawatu Racing Club on Saturday night E. Kingan and I'. Ilingan, the trainer and rider, wOre disqualified for six and twelve months respectively, for pulling Off Chance in the Hack Eace at the autumn meeting. Banks was exonerated, and the stakes will be paid over. The stewards meet again to-night to consider the running of Opai in the hurdle events at the same meeting.
DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB. DUNEDIN, Maboh 28. The following amounts have been paid in connection with the Dunedin Jockey Club’s meeting:—B. Eeay, -£598 10s; Q.G. Stead, ,£532; M. Holi)bs, £375 ; E. A. Joel, £237 10s; J. Lloyd, £190; O. Wise, £l6l 10s; J. M’Ginness, £137 15s; R. Brown, £114; E. Cutts, £lO4 10s; J. Fitzgerald, £BS 10s; J. M’Kewen, £76; T. Sheenah, £66 10s; J. Boss, £57. Amounts under £SO bring the total up to £3059. At a meeting of the stewards of the Dunedin Jockey Club, the protest against Hippomeues in the Farewell Handicap was unanimously dismissed. The dividend on Hippomenes is £ls 13s inside and £l2 4s outside. The husband of the owner of Ned Kelly produced tickets showing that the horse had been backed on first and second day, and protested that it was unfair to take away the stakes.
