TIMARU RAM FAIR.
[Pee Pbess Association.! TIMAEU, Maech 25. The annual ram fair was held to-day on the Show Grounds. The entries numbered about 800, and the attendance was very good. The sale was fairly satisfactory, considering the very dry season, find the low prices ruling for ewes. English Leicester, Shropshire Down and Romney Marsh rams were most in favour. Lincolus sold up to 3}g, Shropshire Downs up to 2gs, Romneys to l-|gs, English Liecesters to 2Jgs, Border Leicester to lsg, and inbred half-breds to Ig.
