LAWN TENNIS.

Yesterday a number of players of the Linwood Lawn Tennis Club went to Rnngiora to try conclusions with the local representatives. Play commenced about ten o’clock and continued throughout the ’ day, the games being on the whole interesting and exciting. The Linwood Club won by a majority of forty-two games. The visitors 11 were hospitably entertained at a luncheon at the Junction Hotel, and at the courts afternoon tea was served by Mrs Baber. The following are the results: — SIKGI.ES.
