The 440yds Swimming Championship of the colony was decided at Bathurst to-day, and was won by Lane, who beat Percy Cavill by four yards. Time—Grain 12!sec.

The following handicaps have been declared for the Richmond Club’s 75yds Handicap, to be decided in the bath on Wednesday evening;— First heat: A. B. Truscott, scr; W. H. Thomas, 6sec; J. E. The Canterbury Club held its Christmas Handicap, 50yds, in Mr Kent’s Bath, Richmond, on Wednesday evening. The final heat was won by H. T. Dudley Isec, A. Q. Henderson scr being second, and A. E. Milne osec third. Time—4U?sec.
